Austin on Crime
- Secure additional officers to adequately support the residents of District E
- Work to secure two separate police stations in District E
- Have more officers allocated proportionately to East New Orleans & Lower 9th Ward
- Find a permanent home for the 7th District Police station
- Promote an increase in police presence in local neighborhoods and businesses
- Serve as chairman of criminal justice committee
- Work aggressively to remove violent criminals off the streets and to help promote viable and stronger programs for first time offenders
